2.24.10

This was Nayah at breakfast. I don't think she was feeling well. I put her back to bed, and after a few hour nap she bucked right up and acted like nothing was wrong.

I went to get Tavi up from her nap. She was snuggled so much under the covers and pillow, I thought she had gotten out of the bed. I literally yelled for her and looked around the house. Then I went back to the bed and saw her hair.

I got the angle that you could see her...from the foot of the bed she was invisible! It didn't help that her shirt matched the bedding.

I was making a sandwich the other day. I was not paying attention (I was talking to Ty and mostly looking at her), and was just kind of squirting the mayo all over the bread. I looked back at my bread, and saw that I had put my initials on it! And it looks so intentional and fancy!

Usually my mayo scribbles look just like...scribbles.

Lee was not impressed. He did not get the magnitude of this. You're impressed, right?

Tavi finally got to use her new umbrella last night! It was only a short distance to walk, but she loved every minute of it!

Oops. Apparently I had her on the computer cord while changing her diaper? Still not sure how this one happened...

2.2.10

I wasn't sure if I wanted to zoom in to catch the "wholeness" of the puddle, or scan back and show you the general area.

I chose the latter.

This small amount of water (not really small, probably 10 feet long and at least 2 across) is from only one night's worth of rain. When it rains for a day or longer, this area, almost up to the tree, is covered with water.

And I have to admit: Even with this "small" one night's worth of rain, I always look out to the puddles, and wonder if there are water moccasins in them. :/ I know.

Maybe the next time it rains for awhile, i'll get a shot of the yard. (But then again it IS me, so maybe not! Haha).

A week's worth of bananas, for all my little monkeys!
